Hydrogen at Full Speed
Werther, 22.06.2026
Since our foundation, Poppe + Potthoff has been committed to mastering extreme challenges together with our customers and partners. This is why we are especially proud to be part of an exceptional task with the JCB Hydromax project.
With the JCB Hydromax, the British company JCB aims to set a new world land speed record at the Bonneville SpeedWeek in August 2026, building on the legendary record-breaking run achieved by the JCB Dieselmax in 2006. This time, however, the attempt will be made with a hydrogen-powered vehicle.
Various components from Poppe + Potthoff’s modular TOPAQ hydrogen supply system are integrated into the vehicle. As one of the project partners, P+P contributed its expertise for the system integration throughout the vehicle development process and supported the project from the initial testing phase through to full vehicle system integration.
We are excited to be part of JCB Hydromax and look forward to sharing further updates on the project and our contribution. Stay tuned for more information on the functions performed by the integrated components of the TOPAQ hydrogen supply system in the JCB Hydromax!
