Haluk Mehmet becomes the new COO of Poppe +
Potthoff GmbH

With effect from 1 July 2024, Haluk Mehmet joins the management of Poppe + Potthoff GmbH as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this position, he takes over the management of the Quality, Purchasing and Operations departments within the internationally active group of companies.

The 45-year-old engineering graduate has many years of management experience in the automotive supply industry. Most recently, he held the role of VP Operations EMEA2 at the ZF Group in Friedrichshafen.

Operational improvements in each business unit

The area of activity of the newly created management position is diverse: for example, the development of the purchasing strategy or the further development of the performance management of the business units are among the upcoming tasks. In his new role, Haluk Mehmet will support the management of the respective production sites in achieving their goals.
