Poppe + Potthoff is a member of the European association Hydrogen Europe

It is the goal of Poppe + Potthoff to take responsibility for the future with innovations and to actively shape the market. This is particularly evident in the field of “Alternative Drives”, where P+P’s products enable state-of-the-art solutions for hydrogen and fuel cell propulsion. To further strengthen its own commitment in this field and to underline its importance for the company, Poppe + Potthoff has joined the association Hydrogen Europe.

Hydrogen Europe is the European association representing the interest of the hydrogen and fuel cell industry and its stakeholders. The association’s goal is to enable a hydrogen-powered, zero-emission society. To lay the foundation for this goal, the Brussels-based association brings together various key players in a network that works together to promote and accelerate the introduction of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across Europe. With more than 200 companies, 80 research organisations and 25 national associations as members, the association encompasses the entire value chain of the European Hydrogen and fuel cell ecosystem collaborating in the Fuel Cell Hydrogen Joint Undertaking. Hydrogen Europe is an association fostering knowledge and pushing for fact-based policy making ensuring that the European regulatory framework enables the role of hydrogen in our society.

In addition to its membership in Hydrogen Europe, Poppe + Potthoff has also been a member of the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV) since 2020, which operates on a national level. Just like Hydrogen Europe, the DWV also aims to promote hydrogen and fuel cell technology as the energy carrier of the 21st century and a sustainable energy economy.
