R+W Antriebstechnik – New business area at the Poppe + Potthoff Group R+W, the renowned maker of precision couplings and line shafts, has been owned by the Poppe + Potthoff Group since November 1, 2011.  Established in 1990, R+W Antriebselemente, based in Klingenberg, employs more than 140 people around the world.  In addition, the company has subsidiaries in China, France, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia and the USA as well as more than 50 authorized dealers in 40 countries.  The product portfolio includes torque limiters, bellows couplings, elastomer couplings, linear and miniature bellows couplings as well as line shafts. The precision couplings and line shafts at R+W extend the offerings of the Poppe + Potthoff Group and support its strategy of diversification and long-term growth.  R+W will be integrated into the Poppe + Potthoff Group as an independent company.
